Join our team! Student Ambassadors are enthusiastic CDM students who share their experiences and answer questions from both current and prospective students about earning a degree at CDM. Ambassadors connect with prospective students via email and actively participate in CDM events throughout the academic year.
Role and Requirements
In order to apply, interested students must have completed at least one quarter as a student enrolled in a CDM degree program and must have at least one year remaining before graduation.
Candidates who meet these requirements should review the specific responsibilities and application process that aligns with their academic career.
All Student Ambassadors will have their picture, program of study, hometown, and a quote posted on the corresponding CDM Ambassador website.
Prospective students email via a secure system, which is sent to student ambassadors’ mail.depaul.edu email addresses. Student ambassadors are responsible for responding to these emails as they arrive.
Training
Student Ambassadors are required to attend a training session after they are selected for the position. Additionally, quarterly professional development trainings and team meetings are held throughout the year.

Undergraduate Ambassador
Eligibility
- Completed at least one quarter in a CDM degree program
- Have at least one year remaining before graduation
Expectations for Undergraduate Student Ambassadors
- Attend and assist with your school-specific Admitted Freshman Preview Days (minimum of 2 per academic year).
- Volunteer at additional prospective and/or current student events as requested.
- Respond to prospective student emails sent via a secure system to your DePaul email address (during the academic year; summer email volume is light).
- Have your photo, program of study, hometown, and quote featured on the CDM Ambassador website.
Student Ambassador Role at Events
- Assist with setup, check-in, and other event logistics.
- Participate in student panels.
- Support CDM tours led by Undergraduate Admission tour guides.
- Interact with prospective students, families, and current students, sharing insights about your CDM experience.

Graduate Ambassador
Areas of Outreach and Expectations
- Must attend and assist with all New Graduate Student Receptions (one each quarter).
- Student Ambassadors are asked to volunteer for at least 1 additional prospective student event per quarter, such as CDM Information Sessions and Graduate Student Open Houses.
