DePaul students are encouraged to join student organizations to meet people, network, and discuss trends in their area of interest. This page contains brief descriptions of many of the groups that are popular with students in CDM programs.

Computing Organizations
Computer Science Society
Students in CSS collaborate on computer science-related projects, expand their education outside the classroom, and join a network of hardworking people both in school and in the field.
Security Daemons
Hosts events, opportunities, and competitions for students interested in Computer, Information, and Network Security.
ISACA DePaul
Expands recognition of the IT Audit and Assurance, Security and IT Governance disciplines, extending education beyond the classroom on standards, practices and certification.
Upsilon Pi Epsilon
Recognizes academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information disciplines.
DePaul Cloud Organization
Leveraging DePaul's skills and resources to build a strong foundation in cloud technology and related fields.
DISSO
The DePaul Information Systems Student Organization equips members with information systems career and technology insights and provides networking opportunities that build meaningful relationships.
RoboTech Society
Explores innovative robotics projects and advances research in the field while fostering a collaborative and engaging environment for students of all skill levels.
Design Organizations
DUXA
The DePaul User Experience Association brings together undergraduate students majoring in User Experience or related fields and UX enthusiasts to better understand the current industry standards, as well as to collaborate, network, and learn from each other.
XD Roundtable
Provides a platform for the personal and professional growth of DePaul students in the UX industry.
Design Club at DePaul
Provides opportunities for professional development and networking within the design industry, encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing among members and promotes design awareness on campus and in the Chicago community.
Industrial Design DePaul
Facilitates an environment for learning about and partaking in industrial design, valuing working together to create a fun and safe place to share ideas, build and learn.
Film, TV, and Animation Organizations
The DCC
Fosters new collaborations, arming students with focused information, industry opportunities, closer proximity to guest lecturers, and a better sense of what it takes to succeed in the industry.
DePaul TV Productions
DTV provides both the introduction and opportunity for students to engage in the production of television or series-based content under the principles of digital cinema through socially responsible leadership.
The 50/50 Club
Strives to uplift and advocate for students of underrepresented gender identities in all aspects of animation
Animation Lodge
Builds rapport and establishes a network between the animation program students, faculty, alumni, and staff members.
DKA
Fosters lifelong character, collaborative and creative storytelling, ethical and productive business practices, philanthropic action, and fraternal bonds by and between students of the cinematic arts.
SIGGRAPH DePaul
Serves as a space for students interested in CGI and VFX to exchange projects and methodologies, explore innovative software and techniques, and forge connections with peers and experts in the industry.

Supports the academic and creative needs unique to women and gender non-conforming persons in Digital Cinema.

DeFRAG
DePaul Fundamental Research in Academic Gaming Brings people together through their love of video games, hosting a number of events that range from online game nights to huge overnight gaming marathons.
Queer Game Devs
Creates a safe environment for queer people and other minority groups to find community at DePaul CDM. Queer Game Devs aims to create a network within DePaul and the larger Chicago area to branch networking and social events

Provides casual and competitive gaming opportunities, and prepares students for careers in or associated with the esports industry, including game design and sports management.
