Our mission is to enhance your student experience and engagement by providing knowledgeable advising services and connections to university resources that enable learning and the successful completion of your degree.

Our experienced staff provide individualized services to help you navigate your education:

  • New student registration
  • Introduction to student resources
  • Guidance on degree requirements
  • Evaluation and approval of course waivers, course substitutions and transfer credits
  • Degree plan audits to track your progress toward graduation

DePaul's Academic Advisors help students navigate their academic experience at DePaul. From advising you with course selection/planning to sharing important information about academic policies and requirements, we are here to help you make informed decisions about your education plans.

​​How to Schedule an Academic Advisor Appointment

Students can schedule an appointment with their Academic Advisor on OneDePaul:
  • Log into OneDePaul.
  • On the OneDePaul homepage, click My Appointments.
  • Click Schedule an Appointment.
  • Click the Assigned tab, then click on the arrow in the box of the advisor you wish to meet with.
  • Choose the appropriate topic and sub-topic you wish to discuss.
  • Choose the time that best fits your schedule.
    • Note: you can also click on the date that is displayed and choose a specific date.
  • Next you can enter a comment of specifics you would like to discuss with your advisor and finally confirm the appointment by selecting the location.
Academic Advising appointments are listed in Central Time and are available across a variety of modalities: Zoom, phone, or in-person in our office (1 E. Jackson Blvd., Suite 5200). All international appointments must be scheduled via Zoom. For Zoom or phone appointments, we will contact you at your scheduled time. 
If you are unable to locate a time in OneDePaul, please email your Academic Advisor below to see if any other options are available.

In addition, you can call 312-362-5358 Monday-Friday from 9AM to 5PM CST to schedule a meeting.
