Internships are an important step to full-time employment and a successful career. Each year, we work with hundreds of area employers to help place qualified, marketing interns.
In addition to a standard internship positions, DePaul recognizes internships that are paid or un-paid, on-campus or off-campus, part-time or full-time jobs as long as they are related to a student's career interests and/or major, student teaching, apprenticeships, externships, research and practicum. The MKT 393 course counts as your EL (Experiential Learning) Requirement or a Marketing Elective. MKT 393 may give you options in your degree requirements. See your academic advisor about your options. It is also required of all IME Honors Marketing and Digital Marketing Concentration students. Schedule an appointment with any College of Business Academic Advisor.
Graduate students who are interested in receiving credit for an internship can sign up for the MKT 793 course. Please follow the same instructions as MKT 393 below.
To obtain a Marketing Internship:
- Set up an appointment with a career advisor in the DePaul Career Center
- Search for internships using the Marketing Internship Site or Handshake, DePaul's recruiting and career services platform.
