Content Area Advising

Content Advisors are faculty that have specialty in the teaching area. Content Advisors are assigned for all graduate level students. Students are encouraged to meet with their Content Advisor either before beginning their program or after just starting. The Content Advisor will do an assessment of prior coursework to determine if there are any deficiencies and courses needed for the teaching area. This coursework must be completed and documented through official transcripts before stated deadlines for student teaching.
