Students may be granted one (1) hall booking lasting two (2) hours per quarter. This booking must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance via this request form. Only Jazz Studies students may book Dempsey Corboy Jazz Hall.
Students who have a confirmed recital are allowed an additional two (2) hours the quarter they are presenting their recital - this will serve as their dedicated dress rehearsal.
Policies for the School of Music (SOM) and Holtschneider Performance Center (HPC) spaces:
- SOM/HPC spaces are to be used by current SOM students, faculty, and staff only. All outside guests must have pre-approval and be on campus for academic purposes only.
- SOM/HPC spaces are not to be used to teach lessons to anyone who is not a current SOM or CMD student – this includes lessons held over Zoom or other video conferencing services.
- Reset all chairs, stands, and any other equipment you use to the location where you found them.
- Treat rooms and equipment with care – report any damages to Julia Miller.
- Food is not permitted in any concert hall. Beverages with secure lids are allowed in the spaces, but may not be placed on a piano.
- Any violations of these policies may result in loss of access.
